About Gasoline Street Coffee Company

We are an independently owned specialty coffee shop who offers hand crafted coffee bevies as well as smoothies, local baked goods, breakfast sandwiches, etc.

Gasoline Street Coffee Company is a coffee shop in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It is listed at 643 First Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15219, which places it among the local businesses of Pittsburgh that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. The most common schedule is 7 am–2 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Pittsburgh is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Pittsburgh follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Worthy side trip for me to this coffee shop. I agree with recommendations. It was the best espresso that I had during my week in Pittsburgh. I had cappuccino and bagel with ham, egg, and cheese.

Always one of my favorites when I visit Pittsburgh. I last was in town in October and the ube white mocha was one of the best drinks I’ve ever had. Forever recommend!

I absolutely love this coffee spot! The space, transformed from an old loading area, has such a cool and modern atmosphere. The coffee itself is top notch; my first cup was so good that I immediately went for another. A visit here is a must every sip and every detail make it worth your time!

This might just be my new favourite coffee shop in pittsburgh. It’s a bit out of the way for me, so it was definitely a pain coming here, but it was worth it. The decor is eclectic and almost feels like as if you are in a combination of a museum and a scrapyard. There is plenty of space to sit and relax. I had the special coffee with cinnamon, and it was one of the best coffee based drinks that I had in a long time. The barista was extremely nice and patient. They also have a couple of board games that you could play as some other people were. I guess I would love to come here with a book and read. Definitely recommend this place.

I stopped in from out of state after reading the great reviews. A 4.8 stars catches my attention. I am so glad I decided to take the walk here. There is such a great vibe here with the decor and layout. It’s clean. You’re not crowed with seating on top of one another and it has a comfy vibe that I think men and women alike will enjoy. Men will like it for the obvious decor but ladies, it’s an industrial feel with feminine touches sprinkled throughout. Also worth mentioning, the seating is separated into little niches away from the others so you have a sense of being in your own space but still enjoy the presence of others from afar. I truly don’t think there’s a bad seat in the place. It’s not a huge place but it feels more spacious than larger coffee shops I’ve been in somehow. Love it! The music is nice and not so loud you can’t hear someone across from you in conversation. There is outside seating in the front accessed with open garage doors. A cool little detail. I was tempted to sit outside but honestly I was so drawn to the inside and the little detail’s everywhere I stayed inside. The young lady at the register this afternoon was so sweet. I didn’t catch her name but she
